Thoughts on Q Magazine Readers' Choices (Brilliant)
The Q Magazine has announced its list on top 10 best albums for the last 25 years since the magazine was launched. The list was made according to Q readers' vote. Here are the 10 winners:
1. Radiohead -- 'OK Computer'
2. Nirvana -- 'Nevermind'
3. Oasis -- '(What's The Story) Morning Glory?'
4. Oasis -- 'Definitely Maybe'
5. Arctic Monkeys -- 'Whatever People Say I Am'
6. U2 -- 'The Joshua Tree'
7. The Stone Roses -- 'The Stone Roses'
8. Radiohead -- 'The Bends'
9. U2 -- 'Achtung Baby'
10. Muse -- 'Black Holes and Revolutions'
My opinion about this list? Of course I'm so happy that I could die. There are 2 Radiohead albums, 2 Oasis albums, 1 Nirvana album, and 1 Arctic Monkeys album. They are my favourite bands and those albums are my favourite albums. Personally, I much prefer Hail to the Thief, In Rainbows, and Favourite Worst Nightmare to be sorted in the top 10, but the top 5 albums are already good enough for me.
I'm also glad that U2 and Muse made it to the list, even though I much prefer All That You Can't Leave Behind and Absolution to be listed there. As for The Stone Roses, I have no comment. LOL.
In short, this is another proof that I share similarities with Q Magazine readers, though I don't r subscribe to the magazine myself. LOL. Maybe later on I'll try.
